A Framework for Understanding Poverty

A Framework for Understanding Poverty

By Ruby K. Payne

Review

Rating: 6

This reads like pop psychology (which I’m not above reading), but for understanding the culture of the working class. It reads fast with plenty of case studies and charts. You can find general principals that can be useful if don’t see them as hard rules. Of course, we should take the time to approach people and families on an individual basis. Still, many of the observations in the book rang true.
