Stumbling my way to where I think Jesus is

   I would think that word is – Jesus. Satan trembles at His name.
   Either that or love. It’s kind of the opposite of evil.

   “Enough”

   Satan is felled as soon as God stops giving him license to work. That’s my word.

   Jesus, I like because of that trembling thing. I think that’s true. I resist “love” because it’s so warm and fuzzy.

   “Enough” – great. that’s new. I hadn’t heard that before, but I like it.

   The answer is given in the very last line of the song:

   Q. What is the word that “abideth” (first line)
   A. God’s TRUTH “abideth still”. (last line)

   Satan is the antithesis of truth.
   He is the father of lies
   and cannot abide the truth.
   When the truth about God is finally seen,
   Satan is defeated and destroyed.

   NOTE:
   Although the Bible defines Jesus as “the Word,”
   I don’t think Martin Luther would have described Jesus as “one little word.”

   I’m an idiot. The very next line of after “one little word” is “That word above all earthly powers.”
