My Old Band Is Separated by Miles

eJamming is the way Fatbox Ransom will reunite, assuming I’m able to stay up past my new bedtime. It’s real-time online musical collaboration. I heard Bob Boilen demonstrate it on-air and it seemed to work great. I guess he used it perform live with his old band. Live, as in, in front of people. And it doesn’t have to just have to be my old band. Maybe we’d meet someone on the website and they could join in to.

I downloaded the software. It seems to work perfectly, though I have only listened to another session. The fidelity is certainly acceptable – though I’m still unsure about the latency issues. Either way, everyone may need to consider upgrading their bandwidth…are you getting compensated by Neilsen? haha
