How Rich Are You?

I forgot to invite y’all to post how rich you are in the comments. I’m asking you use the Global Rich List. It’ll give you a rank and a percentage. Even so, I guess that could be a personal question. If it makes you uncomfortable perhaps post how rich you were from your first job.

iPhone vs. Heifer

heifer Dallas is doing a teaching series on money with a young adults group. It reminded me of the Global Rich List. You plug in your annual salary (be sure to change it to the proper currency) and it ranks you against everyone else in the world.

heiferThe first time I entered my salary, six years ago, I was well within the top 15% of the richest people in the world. Today I made the top 5%. Maybe Apple’s new iPhone is more within my grasp than I thought. Or for about the same price I could buy a heifer.
