In Response to a Complaint About Placement of a Cross
The almost life-size cross was placed front and center in front of the table used to celebrate communion which in turn was in front of the pulpit.
He said: The cross was getting in the way. I couldn’t see the pastor.
I said: I wanted to give the cross more emphasis on this Sunday. It’ll be back where it was next week.
I should’ve said: Was the cross distracting you from hearing God’s word and from worshiping? Was the cross of your salvation keeping you from focusing?
